Website Membership Purchases

This policy applies to standalone Pro and Unlimited memberships purchased through Memoket's Shopify-powered website checkout. Hardware order changes and returns are handled separately under our Shipping Policy and Return and Refund Policy.

Both Pro and Unlimited are available as one-time purchases for 1 month or 12 months of access. Monthly and annual website purchases do not automatically renew, do not create future recurring charges, and do not involve repeated physical deliveries. An annual price expressed as a monthly equivalent is a comparison; the selected 12-month amount is paid once at checkout.

Activation and Expiry

After purchase, redeem your plan in the Memoket App using your purchase email address and order number: profile → Current plan → Redeem hardware benefits. The purchased 1-month or 12-month access period begins when redemption succeeds in the App. Purchase or payment confirmation alone does not start that access period.

Access ends when the selected period expires. There is no automatic charge at expiry and no recurring payment to cancel for these one-time website plans. To obtain another paid access period, you must actively make a new purchase. Any available Starter or included membership benefits are handled according to your account's eligibility.

Cancellation and Refund Requests

If your website membership has not been redeemed in the App, you may cancel the purchase and receive a full refund. After successful redemption, you may request a prorated refund for the remaining paid access period. We assess that period as of the time Memoket receives your first complete, verifiable refund request, including your purchase email address, order number, and request to cancel the purchased membership. Our review or processing time will not reduce the refundable period established at that time. Any prorated refund is based on the amount actually paid for that membership, after discounts, and the remaining share of the original paid access period. We review your purchase and redemption records. Unused transcription minutes alone do not determine the refundable amount. See the membership section of our Return and Refund Policy for the process.

For a website membership cancellation or refund request, email cs@memoket.ai with your purchase email and order number. Cancellation of a recurring subscription stops future renewal charges; it is not the same as a refund of fees already paid.

Submitting a refund request does not by itself suspend your purchased membership. It remains available during review under its existing terms and expiry. If your request is approved, the refunded paid membership ends as the refund is processed; we will confirm the termination arrangements with you. Additional use during review or processing does not reduce the refund amount established at the request cutoff. If your request is declined, submitting it does not change your existing membership. Other valid purchased or included benefits continue according to their own terms and eligibility.

Apple App Store and Google Play Purchases

If you bought a recurring membership through Apple App Store or Google Play, manage renewal and cancellation through that platform's subscription settings or the corresponding flow linked from the Memoket App. Refund requests follow the platform's refund process. The website's one-time purchase rules do not change Apple or Google's subscription terms.

Deleting the App, turning off your Gem, deleting recordings, or deleting your Memoket account does not by itself cancel a recurring subscription managed by Apple or Google.

Hardware and Included Membership Benefits

A hardware return and a separately purchased membership refund are separate requests. Membership benefits included with hardware, beta participation, Early Bird offers, or pre-order offers have no separate cash-refund value. A separately purchased Pro or Unlimited membership is reviewed under the membership refund rules even if you also purchased or returned hardware.

Included membership benefits are handled according to the original offer terms and the records for that benefit. We will confirm any applicable expiry or device-eligibility conditions when handling your hardware return. Later policy changes will not be applied retroactively to withdraw previously promised or granted membership benefits. Returning hardware does not by itself cancel a separately purchased membership.
